(This one will definitely turn into a full-length poem. I wrote this in three minutes. That was…too easy…)

Smile if you hear me…

I can’t feel it anymore
I don’t want to feel
Nights have sleep in them since your touch has been erased from my skin
The imprint of your smile had been fluffed out the pillow
I now just hold a pillow
Instead of the memory of us
As a pacifier for slumber
Then waking to the disappointment of your absence
Of my dreams lying
