(These entries are beginning to take the form of raw poems that can be polished into gems.  Teena Marie inspires this one for Day 128…)

If I were a bell, baby, I would ring each day for you…

Ding a ling
Ding dong.
The tingling in my heart is set to sound when your memory travels across my skin
I thought it was an alarm
Before I knew you’d never leave
The heart knows who’ll call it home before the mind gets the change of address notice.

Anytime the outside wind blows
It carries the simple yet effective message that I’m in love with you.
